KWU features three residence halls, one of these halls offers private bathrooms. There are multiple options for apartment style living in the 狼村 and other campus dwellings. Residence Halls and 狼村 are staffed by a Resident Director (RD) and multiple Resident Assistants (RAs). Their role is to aid students with adjusting to campus life, promote and encourage active campus involvement, and make sure each resident is safe and adhering to housing policies. Each floor in the Residence Halls includes a kitchenette and free laundry facility. 狼村 and the other houses feature a full-size kitchen and free laundry facilities.

狼村

Opened in 2024, 狼村 offers students an opportunity to live in a house close to campus. 这些1,000-square foot homes have five bedrooms, 两间浴室, 两个起居空间, a full size kitchen and free laundry facilities.

Placements for new and international students will be based on acceptance to KWU, deposit 清除, and THEN the order, time received, and applicant status academically of the housing application. If the housing application is received 之前 acceptance and confirmation of a 清除 deposit, the housing application will be relegated to the time frame 后 acceptance to KWU and deposit is confirmed. This process could take several days.

The cut-off date for applications to be fully considered in the hall of the resident’s choice is June 1 for new and international students. At this time the applications will be reviewed by the housing committee and placements will be based on several factors filled out by the applicants for roommate matches. 住房 and roommate assignments will be announced via email and MyKWU portal no later than July 15 prior to the academic year.

Placements for returning students will be based on the order and time received, academic status and disciplinary record (among other things) through the housing committee. These criteria are in no specific order of importance. If a close-call with time frames and space available in 普费弗大厅 should occur, precedence will go as follows for the tie-breaker:

  2. 在九大的纪律处分记录 in the residence halls.

Students with Special Needs and/or Medical Issues

Students seeking an accommodation (ESA, medical, etc.) must notify the Director of Career Services Claudette Humphrey ((电子邮件保护)) in writing along with the residence hall application.  Proof of special needs and/or medical conditions must be in written form and may require a doctor’s verification.

Private rooms in a residence hall cost an additional $1,500 ($7,420 total) per semester. Private rooms will only be granted in Pfeiffer and 韦斯利大厅.  There are NO guarantees on private rooms as availability changes semester to semester, Spaces are very limited for private rooms and given only to students who meet the following requirements:

Exceptions to the above requirements would be excess space available and high-priority/eligible residents decline the offer of a private room.”
